The death of a loved one is one of the most difficult events we face in our lives, even though we believe, as Christians, that death does not separate us.
Our Clergy and staff desire to be pastorally caring, helpful, and supportive toward families during times of loss and grief.
Funeral receptions can be held immediately following the service in the Parish Hall, which is situated next to the Sanctuary or at an off site location of the family’s choice. While volunteers assist in preparing the Parish Hall for the event, the family usually provides a caterer for the reception. A list of possible caterers may be obtained from the Church Office. Donations are highly appreciated to cover facility and staff usage.
Please contact Rev. Matt or Yvonne in the Church Office at 561-793-1976 or office@saintdavidsinthepines.org as soon as possible after a death has occurred. This will allow for pastoral support and for the planning of the funeral or memorial service to remember the life of your loved one.
