Youth Bible Study meets every Sunday at 9 a.m. in the school classroom. Refreshments are served, and no prior knowledge of the Bible or the Christian faith is required. Youth ages 6th – 12th grade are invited to come and learn and enjoy the fellowship of peers.
Youth Group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Mark room. Youth ages 6th – 12th grade are invited to enjoy the fellowship of peers.
The Youth Group enjoys fellowship outings including “holy hikes,” ice skating, and bowling. Annual Diocesan Youth trips include Episcopal Happening weekend in Delray Beach and the Rock the Universe Christian Music Festival at Universal Studios in Orlando.
The youth are involved in all ministries of the church, including Outreach projects, the Live Nativity, picnics, fundraisers, and caring for our grounds. The youth serve as acolytes and lectors at regular Sunday services. Once a year the youth entirely lead the 10 a.m. service; they preach the sermon; serve as ushers, greeters, and lectors; and even play and sing the music. The youth also lead the Stations of the Cross observance the evening of Good Friday.
