Children & Youth

ST. DAVID’S SUNDAY SCHOOL – AGES 3 YEARS THRU 10 YEARS
10:00am – Class meets in the large Preschool Classroom. Children join their families in the Church at the offertory. The lessons are based on the Sunday Gospel readings with a related craft or project.

ACOLYTES
Boys and girls at least 10 years of age who assist in the services. Meetings and parties are held throughout the year.

THE CONFIRMATION PROGRAM FOR YOUTH
This program includes study, worship, prayer, and service, with the group meeting in the Fall and Winter. Dates to be announced. (Must be at least thirteen years old.)

FIRST COMMUNION CLASS
This class is intended for children Kindergarten age or older and meets in the Spring for four weeks. The class helps the child understand the parts of the mass, the meaning of Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist and in the Church, and his/her membership within it as baptized Christians.
